BEST-SELLING FOAL TO BELGIUM FOR €17,000: SUCCESSFUL AUCTION

Last Saturday, we concluded our second foal auction of the year with a resounding success. With an average auction price of a whopping €7,000 per foal, we once again prove that top quality at an attractive price is within reach. A particular highlight was the sale of a promising filly for a staggering €17,000 to a proud new owner in Belgium. This is just one of the many successful transactions during this auction, where no less than 85% of the offered foals found a new owner. In addition to Belgium, foals will soon be leaving for Turkey, Italy, Canada and even the United States of America. "This is once again proof of the high quality, realistic prices and attractiveness of the foals. And of course, thanks to the dedication of the entire Paardenveilingonline team, who have been able to organize such successful auctions for several years now."

The top 4 foals were all knocked down for more than €10,500

Mare foal Amy-Lee vd Keienlegger Z (Akarad Hero Z x Clinton), whose dam has already classified at 1.50m and grandmother at 1.60m, will soon be moving to her new owner in Belgium for a sum of €17,000. Stallion foal Diederik Z (Drummer 2000 TN Z x Carthino Z) was also popular on Saturday evening, with the hammer falling at 11,000, he will be leaving for Turkey. The striking piebald foal Urus (Comthago x Sanyo) will change ownership for just under that amount, he was sold for the beautiful sum of €10,500. For Unstoppable KK (Comthago VDL x Nabab de Reve) the highest bid was exactly the same, he will remain in the Dutch sport for the time being.

Embryos remain popular

Various special, already implanted embryos were also offered in this auction. In addition to the foal of Drummer 2000 TN Z, the embryo combined with dam & World Cup finalist Cassijnja S was also popular, the hammer fell for the embryo Drummer 2000 TN Z x Carinjo HDC at € 12,000. Another embryo that was also combined with a successful dam was also in demand: in this embryo, the 1.60m grand prix mare Tinkabell 12 is combined with the Olympic genes of Ermitage Kalone. For this embryo Ermitage Kalone x Casco, the final bid was € 10,500.

Unique work of art: the wildcard

In addition to the foals, there was also a special work of art to admire: a hand-forged iron jumping horse, made by a true master. This unique work of art eventually found a new home in Spain.
