This eye-catcher combines the jumping talent of his sire with the distinctive color of his dam, Double Active. Urus is a son of the ten-year-old Holsteiner stallion Comthago VDL, with whom Hessel Hoekstra made a fantastic 1.60m debut this year. Their highlights already include a victory in the 1.55m Grand Prix of Ommen and a silver medal at the Dutch Championships. Expectations are high for both sport and breeding. Granddam Unicorn is a half-sister to the international showjumper Merlijn (s.Samber) and represents an allround damline, which also includes international eventers. The flagship of this damline is the renowned pinto stallion Samber. In the fifth generation, this line traces back to his full sister.
