Alongside a successful sport career that included Olympic participation with Jur Vrieling, Zirocco Blue VDL has established himself as a top-class sire through offspring such as Elysium, Eddie Blue, Glamour Girl and Zuccero HV. Granddam Tiara III already produced the international 1.40m jumper Romeo (s.Diarado) and can also be found in the second generation of the eight-year-old international 1.45m performer Footloose Vest (s.Favorit Ask). Tiara III herself is a half-sister to the Holsteiner-approved stallions Alboretto (s.Acord II) and Crusander (s.Contender). This direct branch of Holsteiner family 42A-2 has also produced a number of performers at 1.50/1.60m level, such as Dalida, Cannonball, Nadir di San Patrignano and Crystall 2.
