Samorin, August 2026. Under Jur Vrieling, VDL Mattias jumps to third place in the CSI3* 1.55m Grand Prix. Earlier that season the pair had placed third with the team in the 1.50m Nations Cup at the CSIO3* in Budapest.
Wesmindro is the eighth foal out of Garonette (s.Indoctro), an elite mare with IBOP. She previously produced the elite mare Oranette (s.Kannan Jr), who jumped 1.35m. Pierre, Oranette's full brother, is also a son of Garonette and competes at 1.30m. Garonette's full brother Hendriek was ninth in the 1.45m Grand Prix at Kronenberg in 2021. Lea Fondevik Syversen is listed as his rider at 1.45m.
Second dam Caronette (s.Up to Date) is also elite and jumped 1.40m herself with Oliwia Szustkowska. Behind her stands Ueronette (s.Cavalier), preferent and prestatie. Eight of her twelve offspring have a sport level. In this Worona I family, the dam, second dam and third dam therefore all carry a predicate.
