Harrie Smolders excelled with Uricas van de Kattevennen in the individual final at the Olympic Games, and the stallion is also making a great progress as a sire. The Grand Prix winner Uricas has been paired here with a mare that is sired by another stallion that made a strong impression at the Paris Olympics, the highly successful United Touch S under Richard Vogel. Through two young mares, this damline -a branch of the proven Kattebel line- traces back to the Animo daughter Promised Girl in the third generation. She is a half-sister to the Grand Prix mare Kapital Girl of Nathalie Paillot, who herself produced the 1.60m level horse Waloubet ridden by Fábio Sarti. This direct damline has also produced the 1.45/1.50m level horses Pommerance and Diabolo.
