This Santiago was bred out of the elite mare Giuliaminka, who is a half-sister of the international 1.60m showjumper Zernike K (s.Sam R) ridden by Brianne Goutal and the international 1.40m horse Louis 236 (s.Lupicor). Granddam Rasminka is also listed as the granddam of, among others, the internationally 1.55m level jumping horse Dubai Dreams (s.Dubai) ridden by Barna Burucs. The international 1.50m horse Extra-Minkus (s.Cartino Z) ridden by John Perez is another highlight which originates from this direct part of the proven Minka damline. Santiago comes from the second crop of the promising five-year-old Oldenburg premium stallion Donthargos. This Don Diarado son stands out under the saddle of Caroline Müller.
