Last year, Sofie van Berghem already made an impression with her jumping qualities at the KWPN mare inspection, where she was awarded the ster predicate with 80 points for free jumping. Sire Opium JW van de Moerhoeve competes successfully at 1.50m-level with Lillie Keenan and represents the strong Van ’t Roosakker line. His oldest offspring are beginning their international careers at the age of seven, and this Sofie van Berghem also has a bright future ahead of her. Her dam Nienke is a half-sister to the international 1.40m-level competing Isabel (s.Captain Cooper) ridden by Tom Schellekens. The same rider competed at 1.55m-level with Casander (s.Lord Z), who was bred from this direct damline as well.
