With successively the top progenitors Verdi, Indoctro, Voltaire and Nimmerdor, all of whom were successful at a high level in international showjumping, this Riekele has very proven origins. His sire Verdi was a fixed value for the Dutch team with Maikel van der Vleuten for many years and established his name in breeding thanks to top class jumpers such as Chaplin, Ibelle ASK, Varoune and Comic. Great-granddam Watieza also appears in the damline of the international 1.50m showjumper Ginus (s.Arezzo VDL) ridden by Guido Grimaldi as well as the 1.45m level performing Bastiaan (s.Verdi) ridden by Mohamed Omran Ahmed Ali Al Owais.
