The genetically very valuable stallion Pegase van 't Ruytershof is one of Belgium's greatest talents and seems to pass on his outstanding jumping talents to his offspring to a large extent. Here we find him combined with a French performance family. Dam Meelynn comes from the first crop of Claude Monet, who is at the beginning of his international sports career. In the third generation, this line leads back to a full sister of the Grand Prix stallion Oscar Minotière, who under Philippe Rozier took part in the European Championships in Rotterdam in 1989 and won several Grand Prixs. This Balzane Minotière produced the 1.45m jumping horse Mabel de la Roche (s.Baloubet de Rouet) and is listed as the granddam of the 1.60m horse Vega de la Roche (s.Diamant de Semilly) of Marie Demonte.
