The genetically interesting Grand Prix stallion Sterrehof’s Cayetano Z made a name for himself in sport under Julia Kayser, notably competing at the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2017. He has been used on a limited scale for breeding, and his oldest offspring are turning six this year.
This three-year-old Cold As Snow Z descends from the prominent Holsteiner damline 474A, and his dam My Diamond Lady JH Z is currently competing successfully at international 1.35m level with Lotte van der Kaaij. Granddam Dirwies is a half-sister to no fewer than seven international showjumpers, including the 1.45/1.50m-level horses Fentanil (by Cento), Iberland (by Berlin), Kay Grey (by Vigo d’Arsouilles), Caitol Wies (by Quite Capitol), and Courweis VDL (by Candidat).
Cold As Snow Z is still very green and has limited experience, but he shows a lot of potential. He may have looked a bit green on the video day, but he’s bound to exceed expectations. This is one you’ll definitely enjoy working with as he continues to develop.
