In September 2024 Cartello VDL finished second in the Rolex Grand Prix at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, a class set at 1.65m. He won the 1.60m Grand Prix of Monterrey and was second in the Nations Cup of Dublin. Darragh Kenny rode him. Across 271 international results he has won more than € 1.69 million in prize money.
The dam Galaxie d'Iscla is a Contendro I daughter and this is her fourth foal. She produced Azraff SPS Z, classified at 1.20m. Granddam Comete d'Iscla jumped 1.40m, the aunt Fairly d'Iscla 1.35m, and third dam Signora 1.40m again. Signora produced twenty-eight foals and fourteen of them earned a competition record.
The depth lies in the French family SF 105. On 2 April 2026 the great-aunt Wathnan Qapella won a 1.55m class at Doha, and that July she won a Gold Tour class at Samorin at 1.50m. In March she was sixth in the 1.50m Nations Cup at Doha. The great-uncle Best of Iscla, an approved SF stallion, won the 1.50m Grand Prix of Royan in June 2024 and was third in the 1.55m Grand Prix of Saint Lô. This family keeps delivering.
