ABOUT
Uniek’s dam Athena S competed with Andrew Ramsay at 1.35/1.40m level before shifting her career to breeding. Granddam River Queen has also foaled the 1.40m level showjumpers Whisper S (s.Highline) and Vera Lyn S (s.Epilot) and can be found in the second generation behind the national 1.40m level horse Hesmee (s.Up To Date). Other 1.40m level showjumpers from this damline include Wednesday (s.Gentleman), Gladstone B (s.Canturano) and Horeas (s.Boreas). The sire, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, excelled with Roelof Bril at the highest level. In breeding, he has developed into a first-class progenitor of Grand Prix horses with standout performers like Darry Lou, Tobago Z, Victoria and Bintang II.
