Sire Dakar VDL has produced top-level offspring such as Denis Z, Jonas, Karel Doorman, and Hamanta B. Dakar VDL himself showcased his exceptional talent at 1.45m level under Jur Vrieling. In the second generation, Picasso inherits the performance genes of the 1.55m level competing stallion Durango VDL, who secured two international victories earlier this year with Jason Foley. Durango’s eldest offspring, including Icaterina, Just D, and Jasmin, are already following in his footsteps. In the third generation of Picasso’s damline, we find the Numero Uno mare Zoë. She produced the 1.40m level showjumper Fabiola (s.Alicante HBC) and the international 4* eventer Hollywood Dancer (s.Dantos HBC) and is herself a half-sister to the World Cup showjumper Carlo I of Nicola Frances Hammond.
