It's all in the name! Next Star shows a lot of potential and is a half-brother of the international showjumper Dhaha (s.Vincenzo) with which Monika Grundkowska participates in Grand Prixs and World Cup competitions. He is sired by the powerful stallion Emir R, who is competing at the highest level under the saddle of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. His dam Zita brings in the valuable performance genes of the successful sport and breeding stallion Cantos, who produced a series of Grand Prix showjumpers, and represents the solid Holstein damline 242. Via the thoroughbred stallion Salient xx and top sire Ahorn Z, this line goes back to the mare Sonate. She is a half-sister of the stallion Alcatraz (s.Aloube Z) and related to many international sport horses.
