Four-year-old Maty Bella is a promise for the future and represents the proven Bella damline. Her dam Benta Bella is a half-sister of the international 1.45m showjumper Ricardo (s.Lancelot) ridden by Kessy van Berlo and a full sister of the 1.40m jumper Centa Bella. Granddam Izmira-is also listed as granddam of international 1.40m jumpers such as Gernini (s.Bernini) and Wisophia Bella (s.Sir Corland). Izmira-Bella herself is a half-sister of the Olympic showjumper Play It Again (s.Voltaire) ridden by Ian Millar and Albert Zoer’s Grand Prix jumper Hallo-Hallo (s.Voltaire). Maty Bella comes from the second crop of Hampshire VDL, who is now competing in the international sport on 1.40m level under the name History-Rilexy and is ridden by Pablo Escudero Morales.
