The Conthargos son Continental Blue has proven his qualities at top level with Philip Rüping and this genetically valuable stallion made a very promising start in breeding. From the dam’s side, this colt is closely related to the well-known Grand Prix mare VDL Groep Sapphire B (s.Mr.Blue). His 1.35m level jumping granddam Marico is a half-sister of this very successful Mr.Blue mare who competed with Maikel van der Vleuten. Marico already foaled the international 1.55/1.60m showjumper VDL Groep Falco (s.Clearway) ridden by Leopold van Asten as well as the 1.45m level performing Goodwill Z (s.Aristo Z). The international sport stallions Malito de Rêve, Hermes de Rêve and the Grand Prix stallion Pacino also originate from this direct damline.
